Rural Healthcare Clinic

Client’s goal & challenges: A provincial health authority urgently needed a 12-bed rural health clinic during the COVID-19 crisis. Conventional construction could not meet the immediate deadline. Challenges included rugged site access, strict Department of Health regulations for medical MEP, and the need for an off-grid power/water solution.

Solution features: We delivered a 360 m² container ward by prefabricating ICU units at our factory. The clinic features positive-pressure air-conditioned isolation rooms and an adjacent container house for medical equipment (manifolds, vacuum pumps). Modules were fully wired/plumbed off-site and craned together on delivery, enabling “plug-and-play” commissioning. The all-steel units required minimal site prep, so installation met the deadline and the clinic admitted its first patient in just over a month

Mining Worksite Village

Client’s goal & challenges: A mining company needed a temporary 100-person camp including sleeping quarters, offices, and dining for an exploratory site. Speed was critical to reduce downtime, and cost control was essential due to fluctuating project scope. The facility also had to meet basic living standards (bathrooms, kitchens) in a remote area with no infrastructure.

Solution features: We provided a turnkey packaged village of stacked container units: multi-bunk dorms, hygienic shower/toilet blocks, combined office/kitchen modules, and an assembled canteen hall. All containers were highly insulated and coated to resist corrosion. MEP connections (water tanks, generators) were pre-routed. Thanks to plug-and-play modular design, the camp went from empty site to fully livable in weeks, at roughly half the cost of stick-built housing.

Mobile School Sanitation Units

Client’s goal & challenges: An education NGO aimed to replace dangerous pit-latrines at schools with safe toilets. Key challenges were no sewer connections in villages, and funding constraints. The solution had to be self-contained, durable, and child-safe.

Solution features: We designed wheeled container units with integrated water-recycling toilets. Each 20′ container has a 6,500 L closed-loop water tank and filtration bioreactor, so no sewage hookup is needed. The compact footprint (toilets on an upper platform) and sealed steel construction keep odors and contamination contained. Units arrive finished and only require a quick on-site setup of solar vents. This innovative approach provides clean, safe sanitation that can easily be moved or expanded.
